At the beginning of the school year, Year 4 students made a huge puzzle. Each of us made a piece. This puzzle represents our school community. Every single one of us is different but we all fit.

The whole composition of this picture is beautiful, as beautiful is a society made up of different people. Around our class puzzle we held messages to live happily together.

THE FOOD WHEEL

In the first term, Year 4 students made a Food Groups Collage.

We divided a large sheet of coloured paper into five sections keeping in mind that the fifth section should be always smaller. We wrote the titles of each food group in each section and then, cut out photos from old magazines and promotional supermarket brochures. Everyone stuck the pictures in the correct section on the collage.

Once The Food Wheel was finished, we displayed the collage in the classroom and referred to it as a revision aid and for food vocabulary prompts.
