| Last November we (Y5 children) went to Saldaña to visit “Villa Romana de la Olmeda.” As we arrived there, a man explained us how ancient Romans made mosaics to decorate their houses. It was amazing!!!
Later we visited the Villa with a guide. In this villa lived a very rich family with their servants long time ago. There were lots of rooms and a garden but the most beautiful thing were the MOSAICS!!! As we arrived to our school, the teacher asked us to try and do our own mosaics and…. here it is the result! The activity was fantastic though it needed tons of patience and concentration. |
