FOOD CHAIN: In the second term, Year 3-students carried out a closing activity related to habitats and their different food chains. We worked in groups choosing a habitat, identifying the producers, consumers and decomposers in each food chain. We wrote a text about each ecosystem and made the food chain using paper plates and a string. Then, each group presented its work to the rest of the students. The different food chains were displayed on the boards along the second cycle corridors. |
EASTER BUNNIES- EGG HUNTING: In the second term, Year 3-students carried out an activity designed by the trainee teachers: Miriam and Héctor. We made an Easter bunny mask by recycling some cards and plates used in previous Arts and Crafts activities. Then, we played Egg Hunting in the playground. |
SHAPE POEM: In the last term, Year 3-students made their own shape poems in the Arts and Crafts lesson and closely related to the topic studied in Literacy. |
ANGUS: In the second term, Year 3-students designed their own kilts. First, we read a story about a Scottish child called Angus . We learnt about the different places in the U.K. where men wear kilt, about its origins, about its symbology, and about the different patterns depending on the clan to which each person belongs. |
