For two weeks, we learned about forces: pull, push, twist, friction, air or water resistance and gravity. Also, we find out about the six simple machines:
At home, we searched for some simple machines that we use in our daily life. We brought one example of each of them to school. In small groups, we made six cards with the names of the simple machines and a picture of them. Then, we classified our machines on our table. Next, we visited the other groups to see their machines and check how they had classified them. If we disagreed about their classification, we asked them why that machine was in that particular group and discussed about it. Finally, we went back to our own group and observed the final result. |
